Why is it that doctors in the DR allow their patients to sit on their butt after a bbl and doctors in the US say you can't sit for at least 3 weeks? Are Domincan republic Bbl's done differently?

My recommendation to my patients is that they sit on a pillow for the first six weeks following a BBL. I have no documentation regarding Dominican Republic plastic surgeons' recommendations for sitting following surgery. Thank you very much for your question. The difference in
information and recovery instructions you have seen between doctors in the United
States and the Dominican Republic may be due to a variance in recovery
protocol, as well as a difference in education or training. Overall, patients
should not sit or put pressure on their buttocks for at least two to three
weeks following a BBL, as the newly transferred fat is extremely delicate,
living tissue. It is important that patients only use a board certified plastic
surgeon for their Brazilian Butt Lift. This ensures the surgeon is properly
trained and will provide the safest procedure possible. A bargain price on a
BBL means less skillful doctor, poor results, and increased risks. My
recommendation is to find a board certified plastic surgeon in the U.S. and
then carefully follow his/her post-op recommendations.

Hello dear!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.There's not difference in techniques, but there's always difference between each plastic surgeon and their recommendations. It always depend on the experience each doctor had with their patients; but certainly, the less pressure you make on the buttocks the better will be. I personally recommend to use a boppy pillow as long as you can.Good luck :)
