You really should not have any restrictions with your gold crown. You should always stay away from extremely hard things such as ice cubes and "rock candy" on all of your teeth to avoid chipping or breaking them, but otherwise you should be ok. Hope this helps.

However, always keep in mind that a prosthesis can never be as strong as your original tooth. Also keep in mind that if you had a root canal on this tooth, the tooth will be even weaker.
A tooth that has had two root canals and still causing you pain is not a good sign. I would recommend that you schedule an appointment with a dentist soon. There is a decent chance that this tooth may need to be extracted and have a dental implant placed. Best of luck.
