Can I and should I ice dysport swollen areas on forehead?

Thank you for your question. Just hold a little pressure on the area with a gauze, for 5-10 minutes, and it should be fine. If a bruise persists, use a VBeam to treat the bruise, and this works very well.I hope this helps!

That seems like some impressive bruising.  Bruising is usually minimal with Botox or Dysport injections and Tylenol does not effect your platelets are bleeding times such as NSAIDs or Aspirin.  Ice will help though...as well as head elevation.  Take care and good luck.

Yes, ice can be used to help any swelling that develops after a Dysport treatment.  Generally, ice can help for the first few days and then tends not to have much benefit after that.  Also, by the way, Tylenol does not influence bruising or bleeding.  Medications like aspirin, advil and motrin do however.  

Bruising is not that common after injection of Dysport, but it can happen.  Ice can be effective immediately after, but it is not very helpful 2 weeks later... gentle massage may help.

It sounds like you have some bruising.  It is uncommon, but certainly possible to get bruising after toxin injections but to minimize this, we use a very fine needle and ice during the procedure.  That being said, once a bruise occurs, IPL and VBeam lasers can be helpful to make it resolve faster and check with your injector regarding what should be done or seek out an injection specialist for future treatments.  Either way you can cover it with make up (and make sure to never expose bruises to sunlight because it can cause staining of the skin).All the best,...

While I wouldn't expect any huge improvement from icing, it can be helpful. It sounds like you are doing everything that you can so keep up the good work and they should resolve themselves with time. Consult with your doctor if they don't seem to be improving in another week or so. Best of luck. 

You describe fairly significant bruising.  This is not normal.  Using ice is fine.  You should probably consider another source for your treatments.  I treat people on blood thinners and don't have bruising as you describe.
