Is Bellafill a good filler to get projection and width added to a weak chin?

Permanent fillers can translate into permanent complications. PMML (Bellafil) is a methacrylate (like Super Glue), and therefore, like silicone, is a foreign body and works, like silicone, to prompt the body to make fibrous tissue to kind of wall the foreign body off. And, like silicone, adverse reactions may occur not only immediately after implantation, but as many as five, ten or twenty+ years later. And these reactions can be extremely difficult to treat, even via surgery, which, itself can lead to disfiguring scarring. And, even under the best of circumstances, while the effects of these kinds of fillers are permanent, volumetric and skin changes that come with time typically necessitate further treatments down the road, as is so commonly the case even when implants are used (which often have to be surgically removed and new ones implanted as time goes on). So, it has been my experience that the use of robust HA fillers, which typically yield natural looking results and may last up to 1.5 (and can be dissolved if ever necessary) are the safer, more logical alternative.
