Bellafill nodule - how can I treat this?

Unfortunately, this story is not uncommon. Many people are understandably enticed by the word "permanent" when it comes to fillers thinking that there results would last a lifetime. Instead what can happen all too often is that the permanent foreign body filler's negative results, such as nodules and granulomas that may form immediately after treatment or even five, ten or twenty+ years later, can persist indefinitely (while the rest of the skin and tissues in the surrounding areas continue to age). So, the double shock of continued aging along with persistent permanent filler problems. It should be remembered that permanent fillers are foreign bodies injected in the skin that cannot be easily or completely removed, even by surgery. Fortunately, I have had success in treating many patients with this issue using an algorithm of varying combinations, concentrations and amounts of intralesional anti-inflammatory injections.
