Can Bellafill be used for butt injections? (Photo)

Question

I went to an injectionist for Bellafil butt injections He was in Texas and said in Texas you don't need a medical license to practice injections you just take a course and have to be overseen by a doctor. I asked to see what he was injecting me with and he told me he prepared the product at home and didn't have packaging for it with him. He told me he had to mix the belafil with saline before injecting it. Now I'm worried that he may not have injected me with what he said he did.

Sculptra can be used to improve the shape of the buttocks. Often, I pair Sculptra with Radiesse. Keep in mind, the buttocks need numerous vials of Sculptra over time to build volume, and in some instances the results are subtle and will need to be combined with fat or implants to achieve desired results. As a patient, you have the right and the responsibility to know exactly what is being injected into your body. I encourage patients to ask questions about the product and do their own research. Some questions you may want to ask is the name of the product, the expiration date, and lot number. If you feel uneasy or are not getting clear answers about the products, find another provider. Sometimes patients will go against their better judgment for a great deal. There are times when the "deal" turns into an even more expensive and unfortunate "issue" to deal with. Just to reassure you, filler is commonly mixed with saline to allow for more even distribution of the product, especially over a large area.

If something sounds wrong especially in medicine it usually is! In the state of Texas the Texas Medical board dues not allow non medical licensed professional to inject anything into the body!!! Also not showing you the product is a major red flag to being injected with non FDA approved fillers. GUESS to late no. See licensed doctor for ultrasound of your buttock. That fee $500. Also I never would use Belafill to the buttock only Scuptra/Radisse in combination … you can also call the Texas Medical Board to ask about being asssulted by non licensed person.
