Doctors, thanks for their answers, said it s not a good choice cause they dont have lifetime. So does it mean beard does not have lifetime also? Hairs, im talking about, are beard hairs (top of my front neck area) not body hairs (eg: bottom of my front neck), that s why im a bit confused. May be doctors didn t understand me well because of my english. In this case, I don t know why beard hairs would not be good grafts for beard transplant? Thanks

To answer your question, yes you can extract hair from the neck are. Some clinics discourage using neck hair because it isn't permanent however if you are informed of this, then you can use these hairs.
There is no evidence that it increases growth in beards although I have had patients tell me it works there and on their eyebrows too. Best, Dr. Emer.
If you always had patchy areas on your beard it may be normal. If you are seeing patchy hair loss on your beard, it may be a medical condition such as alopecia areata. See a doctor for a proper examination.
