Hi @carolann123. Please keep in mind that 1 syringe is equivalent to a blueberry. Half a syringe will not make a significant difference. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Restylane can be used to augment the cheeks and create a lifted and more youthful appearance. It is important to have a consultation with an expert injector in your area and discuss expectations prior to treatment. Often, 0.5 cc is not enough volume to make a significant difference in this area. Strategic placement of small volumes can make noticeable changes occasionally; however, patients who are under-treated with filler are often unhappy and tend to have less lasting results.
0.5cc of product is very little to each side of the cheek. It should be placed strategically to get any significant results. Yes, its safe. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for sharing your question. Your photograph did not upload, but Restylane is a great product to augment the cheeks. Starting with a small amount of product is a good idea. More can always be added. Good luck.
0.5 cc is a very small amount of Restylane and looking at your pictures you do have significant downward movement and would require more than that but it is up to the doctor to determine how much. if the patient decides how much to use, disappointment is almost guaranteed
It is impossible to tell you what you might be happy with without seeing your photo. Some patients get a great result with a small amount of product and others will find that if they limit themselves to one syringe they will get results that make such a small dent in their problem that they have wasted their money. The best thing to do is to sit down and talk to your doctor about what you think they need.
Thank you for your question. I do not see your picture, however 0.5mL of Restylane Lyft to each cheek will provide a nice amount of volume and lift. It is best to start slow and gradually add filler over time. Regards, Dr. Matt Elias
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, your photo did not upload. In general, we can achieve a significant "lift" with 0.5 cc of Restylane or Restylane Lyft injected properly in each cheek. Depending on your facial structure, you may need even less. Please visit a dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is experienced with fillers and cheek enhancement. Thank you for posting your question and photos. You need additional Botox injected carefully to get rid of the glabellar lines. Make sure an experienced injector performs the procedure to avoid complications.Good luck,
The tear trough is a location that is often treated incorrectly with injection being carried out too superficially or in the wrong location. Filler placed to superficially may create visible product. If too much filler is used, swelling of the lids can occur. Bruising...
Often using both a neuromodulator (Botox, Dysport etc) and a filler can help with a glabellar wrinkle. Sometimes it doesn't fix it completely with one treatment. Complete correction of a deep crease with one treatment is often hard to obtain and can be risky. The glabellar furrow will li...
Thank you for sharing your concerns about a "ring" around your eyes following Restylane injections and use of giggles. There will probably be no long term issues, but see your injector got in person evaluation. Good luck.
Thank you for sharing your experience and photos. You could have residual filler or a mucocele in the lips. Both need to be surgically addressed. Fortunately, the procedure is not difficult. Good luck,
Thank you for posting your question and photo. Sorry to hear that you had poor results with Restylane injections. The injector should probably treat the problem for free, but not return any money since the procedure was performed and material was used. Make sure you go to an experienced injector...
