Asymmetrical nose tip - is it possible to fix? (Photo)

Question

My nose tip is asymmetric. It has big nostrils and hanging columnela. It's also harder to breathe as there are scar tissues inside nose (my own opinion here). I have lived with this for about 20 years already but time to time still dreaming to fix this. Is it complicated surgery?

Hi there! Yes, you can certainly make improvements to the nasal tip - even after 20 years. It could be scar tissue or cartilage that has shifted. An open approach to revision rhinoplasty will allow the tip to be placed precisely into a new position. It can be complicated but it depends on who does the procedure. I would speak with a Facial Plastic Surgeon to see what may be possible for you. Hope this helps.

Based on your photos, you appear to have a wide nasal tip that drifts to your left. I agree that you have somewhat of a hanging Columella on profile as well. These issues are Indeed fixable, depending on your examination.
