I am day 3 post op after having a breast augmentation and everything is healing fine but I have noticed a ptc of my bum above my left buttock is numb. Day 1 and 2 I was pretty much bed bound and I've been sleeping elevated on my back. My bum kept going numb so I had to wriggle about a bit but now even though I've been up most of the day moving about its still numb??? Can anyone give some advice please? Thank you!

Answer: How can I stop my bum from being numb? I'm 3 days post BA
Thank you for your question. A combination breast lift with areola reduction and possibly a small breast implant may well be your best option. The starting point should be a consultation with an experienced a board certified plastic surgeon. To learn more please read below:
Congratulations on your breast augmentation. The pain that you describes sounds more like muscle pain which could be related to the submuscular placement of your breast implants. It is best to check with your plastic surgeon for an examination and diagnosis.
Most likely the rash that she described as secondary to soaps used during your surgery and possibly obstruction of normal sweat glands by the swelling after your surgery. It is best to follow up with your plastic surgeon for an examination and not rely solely on the Internet advice.
