Swelling in one breast 8 months post-op. Could it be more serious than an overworked muscle?

8 months postop and swelling in one breast. I did pressure wash the house recently and I'm hoping that I just overworked that muscle. I'm having a slight achy pain as well but nothing that's stopping me from working. Could it be more serious than an overworked muscle?

It may be related to your recent activity. However, if breast swelling continues for several weeks, it would be in your best interest to address this issue with your PS and perform at least ultrasound imaging of the breast. Good luck.

To address the swelling in your breast rest the area, apply ice intermittently and use ibuprofen )unless allergic) to provide relief.  If the swelling hasn't significantly improved after a few days, contact your surgeon for an evaluation. Hope that helps.

Sorry to hear that you experiencing swelling in one of your breasts 8 months post-op. Your power washing could be a contributing factor.  Aching and swelling can be a functon of your recent exertion. Your swelling and  discomfort can also be caused by some fluid in the cavity around your implant.  The best thing to do now would be to revisit with your plastic surgeon for an examination and care recomendations.
