Have a crown on my tooth, bite not lined up. Adjustment done, feels a bit better not 100% may need root canal now, why?

Nerve pain is classically sharp, shooting pain; or throbbing pain like a heartbeat.If you have sensitivity that is improving, the tooth likely does not need a root canal. A crown can be placed without a root canal being done, and if the dentist has to go back inside the tooth to work on the root, a hole can be made through the crown so the crown doesn't need to be redone.If there are a lot of adjustments, and the porcelain is breaking, or there is a hole through the top of the crown already it may be better to remake it. Adjusting a crown can be difficult because often it doesn't hurt a patient until they eat - and it will feel fine or even good at the dental office. Adjusting your bite is also difficult if you have bruxism, holding your teeth clenched and/or grinding. If you do this, I'd recommend a night guard and possibly something during the day.

No it would not be necessary , its normal to have sensitivity,and it can last up to 2 months , but just in case you will need it , unfortunately you will need to re do the crown or just perofir a hole through it , but is not the best way to go , due to infiltration
