Can I shorten the front crowns?

Ii had my 4 front crowns zeconia put on yesterday but they look too long and dent if they can be shorten ? Are they going to affect to quality of the crowns?

Yes, the dentist should have a 'special' kit to adjust and polish zirconia. It is a very strong material, and should not have any ill-effects to minor adjustment.If it's a large adjustment, or there are other things you don't like in addition to the length, it may be best to get them remade. Next time, make sure you love them before cementing!! It's difficult to remove any crown, especially zirconia.

Although there is a chance of fracture or affecting the strength of the crown, porcelain and zirconia can usually be adjusted and polished without causing a problem.  You should make a follow-up appointment to discuss your concerns and follow your dentist's advice.
