If your dentist does not get in touch with you it is ok to wait until Monday morning to call their office. They will likely get you in that day and evaluate the tooth. It is likely that you will need to have a new crown made. Don't be overly concerned until then and keep cold liquids away from that tooth to avoid sensitivity. Good luck.
Hello there,I would recommend just leaving it off and trying not to bite into anything tough and try not to expose the tooth to anything too cold (like ice cream) or too hot (like coffee, coco or tea). If you can do these things for the weekend, you should be okay until you can get back into the office this week and have your dentist place another temporary on there for you. This type of thing does happen sometimes and it is not a real problem because these temporaries are made to come off anyway, hence the name temporary. Good luck and I hope this helps.Sarah Thompson, DMDSt. Louis, MO area (O'Fallon, IL)Real Self 100
