I Had a BBL Done 4 Days Ago, I'm I Supposed to Wear my Garment All the Time? Even to Sleep?

Thank you for your question. We have our patients wear their garment for 6-8 weeks, 24/7.  Failure to do so, delays healing. I hope this helps.

Each doctor has their own protocol. It is very important that you talk to him and follow his instructions.
I suggest my patients to use a full body compression garment, 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months, to get the best results.
It is important for the compression garment to be very tight, for it to help with the swelling, after surgery. I ask my patients to change to a smaller garment as soon as the first starts feeling loose.
If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

I recommend my patients to wear their garments all the time . It will help to reduce swelling and shape your body . As days go by you will feel more comfortable in it . Make sure your skin is not being damaged by a very tight garment .

Thank you for your question, Its very important that you wear your garment 24/7 to help you heal, minimize swelling and maintain your results. If the garment is too tight or you feel sick using it, contact your doctor to verify if its the proper size for you.

Each surgeon has his or her own procedures and routines, including the use of garments post-op so you should do what surgeon advises. Wearing a garment can help minimize swelling and control oozing but make sure it doesn't get too tight. Wearing it for a few weeks is common advice for this procedure. Good luck,
