BBL and/or auto augmentation with buttocks flap - long term results?

Question

I have always had a flat bum. I lost 100 pounds and I’m looking at an lbl, which I expect will flatten it even further. I would like a little curve (not big!) Some surgeons recommend a BBL though I have very little fat to work with. It has even been suggested that I need to gain weight for a slight BBL.I have also had surgeons discuss auto augmentation.I sit all day at work and am concerned that either option will not have reliable long-term results without revision. Thoughts?

An exam or pictures would provide a better way to evaluate you for the BBL or LBL.
I would search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is most likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds of these procedures each year. Look at patient reviews as well as before and after photos on that surgeon's website. Then schedule a Skype or in-office consultation with him/her to have your questions answered.

Thank you for your question, but it is difficult to evaluate your candidacy for BBL with no photos. I would recommend a virtual (we offer free consultations) or an in person consultations to assess how much fat is available for the transfer and offer treatment options. Fat that has been introduced to the buttocks will act in unison with the rest of the fat in a patients body and should respond proportionally to any fluctuations in weight that can result from diet and/or exercise.Seek a board certified plastic surgeon who performs many of these procedures, has great reviews and photos, and is an expert in this field.

there are no yes or no answers to your questions and since the answers are all relative no one can give you an accurate answer based on the limited information you have posted. At a minimum please leave appropriate photographs to help us make some type of an assessment.  Better yet as to schedule several in person consultations.
