Swelling can figure prominently into liposuction after a few weeks. Two weeks after liposuction there is frequently swelling, tightness, and numbness that is a natural part of the healing process. If you are concerned, follow up with your PS.
Hello and thank you for your question. Having some hardness after liposuction is completely normal. Depending on how the areas feel I would normally suggest lymphatic drainage massage to help break this up. This is something you should speak to your surgeon about and see what they think is best.
Definitely talk to your PS to make sure everything is okay. Hardness and tightness is normal after liposuction. Professional lymphatic massages and or endermologie will help. I have my patient goal for 6-10 of them post op in the first 6 weeks. Also wearing your compression garment will help as it prevents more swelling if it is tight.
