Hello, I need to know if I can achieve the look in the photos with bikinis. I'm 5'4ft & 120 lbs. I want my size to look like the photos. Does the fat dissolve after time or stays forever? I don't want implants, I want it to look and feel very natural.
Answer: Does BBL fat dissolve after time or does it stay forever? (Photo) Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You can maintain your BBL results permanently with exercise and a clean diet. Lifting, squats and lunges after a BBL will only help increase muscle bulk and definition and achieve a more projected buttocks. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)

Answer: How fat transfer works Grafting tissue is based on the concept of removing tissue from the body and then reimplanting it in a way where a new blood supply is reestablished and the tissue stays alive in a new position. This concept has been used for reconstructive surgery for many years. Tissue types that are grafted include skin, Cartlidge, bone, nerves and fat. With some tissues like skin graft it’s possible to get a 100% survival of the graft. Because of the nature of fat we typically never get 100% fat survival from fat grafting. This is because the Fat is removed with Liposuction which traumatize the fat to some degree. For high-volume fat transfer procedures like the BBL most plastic surgeons typically “a 50% fat survival rate for the procedure. We typically overdraft to compensate for this to get the best possible final results. There are limitations to how much fat can be grafted in a single session. Typically grafting excessive volumes leads to a higher percentage of fat graft failure. The fat that survives typically does so During the first couple of weeks. This process includes a new blood supply growing into the grafted fat in a process called neovascularization. The Fed that does not successfully get revascularized becomes necrotic and gets absorbed by the body. Most of this process happens within the first six weeks.By three months the results are permanent and the patient will Have a new fat distribution. There is no long-term loss of fat after the first few months. If patients gain or lose weight after fat transfer procedures they will do so based on their new fat distribution. It’s helpful if you post proper pictures for us to make an assessment. Look at how plastic surgeons take before and after pictures to get an idea of how to take pictures for posting on real self. To get a better assessment of what can and cannot be achieved I suggest having multiple in person consultations for the local board-certified plastic surgeons in your area who have a proven track record for this procedure. During the consultation ask the surgeon to show before and after pictures of patients who have similar body shapes and styles to you around. The results of her transfer her quite dramatic early after the procedure. When comparing before and after pictures always make sure the after pictures are taken at least three months from the date of the procedure to show accurate final results. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
