It is hard to tell without proper photos; the best person to answer this question is your plastic surgeon. Consult with him/her to discuss how to reach your goal by smoothing out the top part of your hips.

I would suggest going back to your surgeon and discussing your concerns. Liposuction may be able to remove the excess lateral thigh fat.

If you want an assessment to the outcome of a procedure then you need to post proper before and after pictures. The picture you posted doesn’t really help us all that much.

I suggest you bring up your concerns with your plastic surgeon.
