Is Clear and Brillance Laser effective for old white Stretch Marks? if so, how is it different than Fraxel laser?
Answer: Clear and brilliant can help even out skin tone caused by stretch marks. Follow with Resrfx laser Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Improving Stretch Marks with a combination of lasers, microneedling/prp, radiofrequency Stretch marks need a combination approach for improvement. I recommend a combination of microneedling/prp, lasers (Erbium/Fraxel Laser, Excel V, Pulsed Dye Laser) or radiofrequency devices. Stretch marks can't be cured and it will take a series of treatments. I recommend you see an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Treatment for stretch marks As it is meant for skin rejuvenation, Clear + Brilliant only targets the upper layers of the skin, so it will not be effective in treating old white stretch marks. Lasers that penetrate deeper or alternative treatments like microneedling, PRP and radio frequency will do a better job of treating your stretch marks than Clear+ Brilliant will be able to do. Should you continue to have further questions, there is no substitute for an in-person consultation with an experienced certified provider to go over your treatment goals and the best ways in which to achieve them.
