Hello Virginia,Unfortunately, there is no way to change the shade of your bridge now that it is permanently cemented. If you are unhappy with your bridge, then I would recommend having it replaced. This would involve your dentist cutting your current bridge off and having a new bridge made. Be sure that you love the color of your new bridge before it's permanently cemented. Good luck and I hope this helps. Follow me if you have more questions.Sarah Thompson, DMDSt. Louis, MO area (O'Fallon, IL)Real Self 100
It is definitely better to have the bridge replaced. However, you can have veneers put as new facings on the bridge. A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain or composite that covers the facial surface of the tooth. In your case, the veneers will be made of a composite material.
Therereally isn’t a way to change a bridge ( or a crown ) color in the mouth. Itneeds to be removed to change it. While it’s possible to remove a bridge withoutdestroying it, this is risky and may damage the abutment teeth in the process.Unfortunately the only safe way to do this is also the most expensive, cut offthe bridge and replace it.
The time to change the color of a Bridge is prior to cementation. The bridge needs to be darkened by the lab to have it done properly. Once it is cemented it may be difficult to remove it in one piece. If it is possible to remove it in one piece then it can be sent back to the lab to darken the shade. Otherwise, it needs to be cut off and redone. Hope that helps! Good Luck!
Unfortunately there is no way to change the color of your bridge once it has been permanently cemented. You may discuss this with your dentist. Sometimes a bridge can be tapped off the teeth. There are risks asscoiated with doing this but it might be a way to remove the bridge and have the color adjusted without starting from scratch.
You are able to change the coot of your bridge before it is cemented in place but unfortunately after the bridge is cemented in place there is no way to change it. The only way to change the color now is to replace the bridge, talk to your dentist and see what he is willing to do.
Unfortunately, the shade of the bridge cannot be darkened. There are 2 options for you-Have the bridge removed and remade in the correct shade-Whiten your teeth to try to match the shade of bridge as close as possible. Hope this helps.
Hello there,While Emax is great for aesthetics, I would not recommend it for back teeth. Zirconia is a great option because it's just as durable as PFM and looks very natural. I'll link a photo of a patient of mine who's case was pretty similar to yours. It's always important to look at ...
Hi, thanks for write... Maryland is too expensive to temporary use, they're others options like a temporary support by 2 clams on each side of the front teeth and so many more. Good luck

Hello there,Changes in the length, shape and position of the front teeth can have an effect on your speech. Sometimes getting used to your new bridge just takes some time. However, restorations that are too thick or too long can also cause a lisp. Your dentist may need to make another quick a...
