Thanks for the question. After a Brazilian Butt Lift surgery you can take a shower after 2 days. I wish you all the best.
Bathing or showering after surgery can be difficult and you do not want to fall. See if your surgeon can recommend something else like a sponge bath. It is always best to ask these questions of your chosen surgeon as recommendations may be different.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Thank you for your question. I tell my patients no bath, hot tub, pool, lake, ocean or river water for 6 weeks after surgery. Your surgeon will have their specific instructions for you following your surgery. Hope this helps,Dr. Newall
Thank you for your question. You shoud wait at least two weeks after surgery to take a bath. The reason for this is to prevent infections and to prevent the weakening of the incision line as it becomes weat and soft with water. Make sure to follow your surgeon's instructions as for recovery and care.
Hi and thanks for the question. I have my patients wait 6 weeks but this question is specific to your doctor. Keep in mind that you shouldn't put prolonged pressure on your buttocks even in the tub. Best of Luck - Dr Hardy...
Hello dear! Thanks for the question. And usually you can take a bath 10 days after surgery; but that will depend on the condition if the water in your neighborhood, your healing process and your doctor's instructions.I recommend you to ask directly to your plastic surgeon.Good luck :)
I suppose you could take a bath as soon as you feel comfortable getting in the bathtub. To be serious this is a question you should ask your doctor. It would be inappropriate for any of us to give your postoperative instructions. You will probably find all the other answers to be similar in nature. Most doctors have patients wait until the incisions or at least closed or there's no drainage.Personally I don't have too much of a problem with my patients taking baths after surgery but some doctors do have pretty strict protocols about how long to wait.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
This is a very important topic in plastic surgery. Deaths due to bbl are typically due to surgical technique and have less to do with the facility that you are having the surgery in. you should choose a bbl surgeon who has performed thousands of these operations and who has had no deaths. Deat...
