Is my skin too thin for rhinoplasty? (Photo)

I feel very self-conscious about my nose from certain angles and would really like for it to be smaller and fit better with my face. My question is - is my skin too thin for rhinoplasty? Is there anything that can be done given my thin skin?

Hello, It is hard to evaluate the quality and thickness of the skin on a photo. Having said that, based on what I see, I do not think your skin is too thin for rhinoplasty. Different skin quality and thickness should be taken into consideration during the rhinoplasty procedure to avoid unwanted outcomes. Hope that was helpful

Thank you for your picture. Having thin skin is actually an advantage when it comes to rhinoplasty surgery. Your nose will definetely heal faster and swelling will subside quicker than patients who have thicker skin which will help you see the results faster. Good luck.

Can people with thin skin have rhinoplasty? there is no contra indication for people with thin skin to have a Rhinoplasty. If the skin is extremely thin the Cartlidge of the tip will often show through, but it probably already does. The more common problem is people whose tip skin is too thick. In those patients it is hard to get enough definition. there are also some ways to soften tip Cartlidge which is too prominent and which protrudes too much.
