pubic or mound liposuction is commonly performed with lower abdomen liposuction. if you have a rather slimmer lower and mid abdomen then it would make sense to sculpt the pubic area to match the torso. however, if the mound is not that prominent compared to the lower abdomen then Im not sure if you will benefit from this procedure
If you pinch the skin and there is greater than an inch of tissue between you two fingers liposuction may very well improve the situation. If there's less than an inch it means that there's actually less than half an inch of fat thickness.
Pubic liposuction will thin out the mound considerably, usually to at least half of its current thickness. Whether more is possible depends on how much fat is actually in the mound and how much the skin will shrink down.
If the tissues are thick and mostly fatty, then one can probably have liposuction to thin it out. Remember that there is a delicate balance to fatty tissue removal and how much the skin will contract.
I generally tell patients that I can get out at least half of the amount of fat at one session of liposuction. If you pinch 2 inches you can probably get down to 1 inch. The caution always is that you must consider the thickness of the skin and you also have to consider the probablility of skin contraction.
I tell my patients not to judge their final lipo results for at least 6 months. Swelling can sometimes last even longer. I keep my patient in compression garments 24/7 for 1 week and then at night for an additional 2 weeks.

6 weeks after a c sec is an acceptable time to undergo another procedure such as liposuction of the thighs.
The answer is yes, if the surgeon is aggressive and mistakenly hits the ribs with his cannula. Typically I keep in a plane above the ribs and am very meticulous so i do not damage or hurt the area. You should see your physician if you are concerned. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for asking about your liposuction result.I am sorry about your bumpy liposuction result. It appears you have an aggressive liposuction done, probably with a 'hot' technique, eg laser or ultrasonic.Sadly, there is no way to reliably smooth your skin or to achieve the 'wish look.'Many...
