How much would it cost and how many cc are need to go from 34b to 34d breast implants ?

Hello, the cost of implants varies quite a bit depending on the region and surgeon so it's best to contact several plastic surgeons in your region for quotes.  There are age restrictions on the use of silicone implants so depending on the implant choice, this would also be discussed.

It's hard to give you an exact answer without seeing you first, but usually 300-500cc implants will get you into a D cup from a B cup.  I have my patients place breast implant samples into their bras to get an idea of how large they would like to go.  Bringing in photos of breasts that you like is also a great place to start. The cost varies, but we can give you the exact amount during a consultation as well.

Dear imperfect,   Front and side view pictures would have been very helpful. If indeed you are 34 B cup size, you will need 300 cc to become 34  D cup. However, your true size will have to be taken by your surgeon who will measure the circumference  of your breasts and chest, in inches.   I have noticed in my over 29 years of experience, that many women over estimate their breasts size, because Victoria secrets make the bra cup size smaller, so women feel better about their breasts size. So, if you are, in reality, 34 A cup size, you will need 450 cc implants to become 34 D cup size.  As far as the cost, breasts augmentation surgery (no lift)  with smooth , round moderate profile saline implants made by Mentor (99.9% of my patients) cost in my  surgery center $5500. The price includes accredited surgery center, board certified plastic surgeon, operating room, recovery room, implants and standard post operative follow up visits.   You have to realize that cost is important , but quality of surgeon is more so, because if corrective surgery is necessary, the total cost of surgery will escalate dramatically. So, do your due diligence carefully and choose your surgeon wisely, to avoid bad result and need for redo surgery.    Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeon who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  The size,
profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breast
size/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality. 
This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with
equal input from both you and your surgeon.   Make sure you
specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have
had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their
results.   The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are
comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified
board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Choosing breast implants is a detailed process that requires an in-person examination and trying out sizers to see which you like better.  it cannot be done on the internet if you expect actually good results.  Be sure to discuss with your board certified plastic surgeon exactly what your goals are, and how reliably they can be expected to be achieved.Typical breast augmentation cost in our practice is in the $6500-8500 range, depending on the type of implant you choose (some are cheaper than others).

Unfortunately, breast implant sizing isn't that simple.   Breast implants come in cc's, not cup sizes.  Adding 300cc's to your breast may make you a D, but may make another woman only a C cup.   It all depends on how much breast tissue you are starting with, the width of your breast as well as your band (number) size.     This is why we invested in VECTRA 3D computer imaging.  This will show you exactly what you will look like with any implant you choose.  It is by far the most accurate way to be sure you are happy after surgery is done.  Otherwise, it is sort of a guessing game.  

You would need to be seen in person to identify what type of implant would be best for you.  You can do a baggy test to determine the volume that would fill the bra cup that you want.

Thank you for the question.  There is no accurate/reliable/predictable correlation between size/profile breast implant utilized and cup size achieved.  Ultimately, careful selection of plastic surgeon and careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical.  
Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering  breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:
1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully.  Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.
2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals  with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining  breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. 
In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as  “natural” or "D cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.
 Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup  size may also be inaccurate.  Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice.
3.  Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly,  allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals.  Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery,  after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.When it comes to costs of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure (quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provide, type of breast implants… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites as well.
