3 months after Botox/filler and noticed under eye bags are getting worse. Can this be reversed and what are my options? (photos)

Hi, I had fillers (teoxan) in my malar zone in the zygomatic arch, and botox (azzalur) on my crow's feet and I was happy with the result. 1 week later I had Covid, and 1 month after I started to notice I had under eye bags that were growing every day, especially in 1 one eye, and it's been 3 months since I had the treatment. Would anyone know what treatment can I have to go back to normal? TIA.

I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation.  The swelling you are noticing below your eyes could be attributed to Covid symptoms.  Botox is a temporary treatment and would not cause permanent eye bags to form.

Hi there, hyaluronic acid filler works by soaking in all the fluid around it, so there may be days where the swelling gets worse or better. Further, covid vaccination has been shown to cause an immune reaction that causes edema around where the filler was placed. I would recommend getting it dissolved with a hyaluronic acid dissolver agent, called hyaluronidase. Your injector should have this medication. Hope this helps!

Hello and thank you for your question. In this case considering you have had filler in this area and feel as though one side is swollen it would be best to see your injector as this could be a delayed inflammatory reaction.
