Awake Lipo at Sono Bello. Is this risky for just a few pounds in the abdomen?

There is no doubt that liposuction under general anesthesia is more risky usually than lipo under local when done by lipo experts. You can stand the patients up and have them turn in all positions to get the best access to the areas and to make sure you get the smoothest results with the smaller cannulas. If your doc gives a little oral or iv sedation with the local it can really be a nice experience and not painful.

Non-surgical treatments will generally be less effective than liposuction in removing the fat, but they are slightly safer from the standpoint of risks.  They are both good treatments for the right patient.  If you have not already discussed the pros and cons with your doctor, then you should hold up the planned treatment and go back to review.
