What can I do about my uneven hairline?

It really bothers me. I can't pull my hair away from my face like most girls because of how unnatural it looks. Also makes my forehead look huge since one side goes much further back than the other. I looked into FUE but so scared of them shaving my head and it not growing back.

Since women are traditionally less ideal candidates for full hair transplant surgery, given their diffuse hair loss patterns, I often recommend platelet-rich plasma therapy, with the addition of ACell, which contains growth factors that stimulate and enhance hair follicle function.
With that said, an experienced hair transplant specialist can fill in and round out your hairline with minimal incision and downtime. For safety and efficiency, I find it makes better sense to opt for hair grafting (FUE) as opposed to surgical hairline lowering.
 A note of warning: not all hair transplant procedures are equally effective or safe. Make sure you research and find a well-qualified and experienced board-certified surgeon who specializes in hair transplantation. The difference between an experienced hair restoration specialist and a non-specialist can often mean the difference between success and failure.

Greetings,I would recommend that you consider a small hair transplant session in this area.  The risk of permanent hair loss or visibility of the donor site in the back is very low, and the hair transplant would avoid any scars in the area of your hairline. Good luck!

The two options that are available for this issue are Hair transplant to add follicles to the area that is deficient.Lower the hairline with an incision to pull the hairline lower.Of these options, I think the hair transplant option is best, because it avoids a scar in the front of the hairline. Uneven hairline is not uncommon. In fact most natural hairlines are not completely symmetrical. However, if this is something that is really bothering you, you can correct it. I would strongly recommend seeing an experienced hair transplant surgeon who has done plenty of female hair transplant surgeon to do a complete evaluation. You can easily restore your symmetrical hairline using an FUE procedure.

Hi la123456,Has your hairline always been like this, or is it new ( ie. you've see a change in your hairline). Have you seen your primary care doctor to be checked for hormone/endocrine imbalances? Are you using any over the counter products to stop hair loss (if that is what is going on here)? There are a number of causes that can lead to a change in the hairline which would be important to determine prior to recommending a treatment plan. If this is a change (such as after childbirth), many patients find PRP to the scalp helpful for improving hair density.  This is usually done over a few sessions. If you prove to be a good candidate for FUE hair transplant, it is important to note that you may need more than one treatment in order to attain similar thickness to the hair on the rest of your scalp. A hair transplant with strip harvesting is probably a more reasonable than FUE for you.  If you don’t ever plan to shave your head or keep you hair almost at a shaved length the donor scar should covers up in the back.  Both hair transplant and forehead reduction are options or even a combination of both.  
Just remember that all natural hairlines have some degree of irregularity.

You can have a forehead reduction surgery which will bring your hairline down up to an inch. Alternatively, you can have a hair transplant lowering surgery with the strip method and not require shaving the back of your head
