Does SMASectomy removal of tissue Involves plication? I’m looking forward a midfacelift skin only with upper cheek removal but I don’t want any muscle lifting is that possible ? And how long it will last if the lifting would be only removing skin like 1 cm in a 40 year old

Answer: SMASectomy removes tissue, plication does not.
. . . although swelling may be a limitation. The only two procedures I don't think go well together with respect to this would be lower eyelids and an infracturing rhinoplasty, which requires a splint. Would be selective with what matters most to you, however, and not try to "pack it all in"!
