How soon after BBL can I travel? What about attending a concert/music festival?

I have a week off for vacation 23 days after my operation. Is it unrealistic to take a 2 hour flight for a 5 day vacation? What about attending an outdoor music festival 23 days post op?

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 7-10 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol. 
I also recommend my patients to wait at least 10 days before flying back to home, and you should not sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

Recovery
timelines vary from person to person, with general guidelines recommending that
patients avoid putting pressure or sitting on the buttocks for two weeks. By
three weeks, a short, two-hour flight should be doable, so long as you get up
and move around every thirty minutes. Only your surgeon can correctly assess
what post-op activities are realistic for you, though most people should be
able to attend a concert three weeks after a butt lift as long as they avoid
physically strenuous exercise (such as vigorous dancing.) It’s best if you
clear these travel plans with your surgeon.
