Typically, what is the cost to get porcelain veneers, and how long will the veneers last before they need to be replaced?
Answer: Costs for porcelain veneers can vary dramatically
When pricing porcelain dental veneers, there are many factors, including current condition of teeth (gum disease? Root canals? Broken?), number of teeth involved (4 teeth vs 20?), material used, lab used (some just stain for color variation, some layer different colors of porcelain) and many more.
Most experienced cosmetic dentists do not quote a fee per tooth and opt for a case fee. The average 10 tooth veneer case will run from $13,000 to 20,000, which will include all initial lab work, photographs, study models and so forth.
If you only have a single tooth to veneer, the fee will be about the same as a single crown, whatever the going rate in your city is.

Answer: Veneers, how much?
Cost of veneers varies greatly from doctor to doctor. I think the cost can vary nationally from $1000-2000 per tooth.

Answer: Porcelain Veneers Cost - You get what you paid for.
Prices will vary greatly. I have seen them go as cheap as $500 per veneer but realistically great quality veneers will likely cost around $1,500 each.
Great cosmetic dentists will spend the extra cost by using high end dental laboratories to fabricate beautiful porcelain veneers that would resemble characteristics of natural teeth. The last thing you would want is to have the veneer look like a Chiclets.
There is variation in the quality of the porcelain used as well as how artistic the dental lab technician is and of course how experienced the dentist is in providing such an amazing restoration.
Be very cautious with a low price quote. If it is too low something has to give and in the real world you do not want to find out the wrong way.

Answer: Cost of Porcelain Veneers
The Cost of Dental Porcelain Veneers can range from $900-$2000. This depending on the location you are being treated and the type of dental practice and experience of the Dentist who is treating you. A veneer in NYC will generally cost more than a veneer in Topeka, Kansas. A dental Clinic type practice is generally less expensive than a boutique, high-end cosmetic and restorative dental practice where the dentist is very experienced in doing Veneers and other cosmetic dental procedures. The higher fee may also be the result of the Dental Lab the dentist is using to fabricate the Veneer (the better quality labs charge the dentist more for the veneer fabrication which in turn the dentist passes the cost on to the patient).
