I had 10 veneers placed about 8 months ago, and Ive recently noticed that my bite feels off, with my upper teeth positioned too far forward compared to my lower ones, similar to what I've read about overbites. Since then, Ive been experiencing jaw pain, and Im starting to feel unhappy with my smile all over again. I have an appointment scheduled, but Id really appreciate any insights or suggestions for possible solutions.
6 years ago I had my 4 front teeth shaped with composite. I loved the result but after 6 years it was discoloured and chipped. My wedding is coming up so i decided to update my smile with porcelan on my top 10 teeth. The process was terrible, i waited 3 months for my final veneers (had my temps), which was painful. Now 4 months since placing the veneers I hate the results. There are gaps between my teeth, gums don't look the best. All looks bulky and fake. Would you recommend replacing?
I've had veneers for 10 years. The OP had to redo them 3 times and they still aren't right, my bite is off and a few popped off. (My local dentist replaced them) I have jaw pain and clenching and my bite is so deep it's shearing some. How/where can I fix and will insurance cover some cost? I cannot afford a whole new procedure. Also they look awful, I now have buck teeth.OP charged a ton of money and I have pain and they're still ugly after multiple visits to him.
Four months ago, I got 20 Emax veneers (10 upper, 10 lower) after Invisalign. Since then, I'm in constant pain, using ibuprofen and paracetamol daily. The clinic (abroad) says it's rare but normal. My sister had no issues with her treatment there. MyX-rays show nothing. I'm worried about long-term effects of medication and unresolved pain. Need professional advice on managing this situation and understanding potential risks. Help
Hello.. I got 20 porcelain veneers done along with 4 of my molars (2 on each bottom) silver fillings replaced with white. This was done out of the country so i cannot go back. ive done 3 bite corrections but the issue has not resolved. My family dentist put me on antibiotics even though I dont have any signs of infections but she said because i have continuous discomfort. It feels extremely sore and achey especially when i eat. My 4 bottom teeth are also wiggling when i touch it?? please help
Had 2 front upper veneers replaced a year ago. 4 months later needed root canal in one of them due to pain and sensitivity. They felt fine until December when I got Covid and developed tooth ache under the veneer in tooth with root canal. X-ray confirmed RC was fine. I had 3 bite adjustments and feel better but the pain is not completely gone. No pain at night, I wear night guard, no pain during the day if I wear night guard. Pain goes away after hot shower. What might it be?
About 2 months ago a got veneers, at the beginning my teeth were super sensitive but got better with time. About 3 days ago one of them started hurting constantly so I went back to my dentist, he took x rays and said that everything looks fine and just gave me a prescription for pain. Also said if it doesnt get better he will send me to a root canal specially but I really want to avoid a root canal if I can. Why is my teeth hurting constantly???
I did veneers on 6 of my lower teeth & after 2 weeks, i was in so much pain, the Dr had to do a root canal on 2 of the teeth, now a month later, i'm feeling the same pain & sensitivity on another tooth, could this be the same problem? could it be the reason i'm having this problem is because he shaved it down too much, i just need whiter teeth to match the top, i did veneers on the top 10 yrs ago with no problems.
Ive had my veneers for 3 weeks. Ive gone in for 3 bite adjustments yet the jaw pain still persists. Im on muscle relaxers and Motrin 800 per day. My dentist said there are multiple contacts. What does that mean? Im also not happy with the final result. My bottom teeth have a slight slant to one side. I was told it was due to my own teeth having the same slant. Isnt the purpose of getting veneers to fix that issue? Help please!
