My 6 year old daughter has left eye congenital ptosis. What is the right age for her surgery? (photos)

Her vision is ok as we have been consulting with various doctors and ophthalmologists. What is the right age for her surgery? Are there any surgeons available in Melbourne (Aus)? Are there any pros and cons? Whether she would require second surgery later in her life? Please help.

Steristrips are on placed on incisions for extra support after an upper blepharoplasty.  I would believe your surgeon would want you to keep them in place for up to a week.  I would not remove them at this time, but I would call your surgeons office and ask for verification.I hope this...

Thank you for your question.  Unfortunately surgery appears to be your best option.  There are no safe and effective methods to reduce fat around the eyes.  Best of luck.
