I'm scheduled for a standard Abdominoplasty in early December & would like to lose 10lbs ( goal weight 126) over the next four + months, I'm working out 6 days a week (& have done for many years) & wondered if it was ok to work out the day before surgery? Or is it better to be rested? Thank you

Once you're physiologically stable after childbirth there is no reason not to have the abdominoplasty. I think most plastic surgeons would had you wait about six months.
Headaches are not typical after plastic surgery of the body. This could be related to anesthesia, a reaction to narcotic pain medication, neck positioning during a very long surgery or postoperative dehydration. You should drink plenty of water, and if it does not resolve, see your surgeon and...
I would not recommend only tumescent and iv sedation if you are going to have muscle plication. Perhaps with an epidural, would be a better alternative. I would also make sure your surgeon is truly a board certified plastic surgeon with privileges to perform abdominalplasty in a hospital.
