Very tight mask like feeling six months after facelift, what can I do? (photo)

At 66 I had face , neck, brow and lower eyelid surgery, six months ago. From mid cheek out to ears from eyes to under chin feels like a tight stiff mask under my skin. This does not seem to be decreasing at all, I am very concerned. The only relief is when I am sleeping, my skin is not tight and when my face is looking down it feels like it is dropping. Overseas proceedure so impossible to see Dr.

A typical facelift does not involve the nerve that gives feeling to the teeth.  Likely this is related to something else.  Sometimes a midface lift or cheek implants involve oral incisions along the upper gum line that may be affecting this nerve.  Best to re visit your plastic surgeon to make...

Thank you for your pictures and questions. It looks as though you have some scar adhesion and contour deformity after a necklift procedure. This is why you have to be very careful with incision placement in this area and make sure not to remove too much fat in the area to prevent scar adhesions....

I tell my patient to color their hair few days prior to their facelift or 4 weeks after surgery.  I recommend to apply Vaseline to the incision lines prior to coloring your hair.
