Yes, both surgeries can be performed together. It really depends on your surgeon's preference. Good luck and be safe. John T. Nguyen, MD, FACS, FICSDouble Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Hi. These operations can definitely be performed at the same time. Correction of gynaecomastia and liposuction are simple day surgery procedures, while a tummy tuck involves a 3-4 day stay in hospital. If You have the procedures together then a lot of the recovery of the breast and liposuction procedures has happened while you are in hospital, and there is no increase in recovery time. For more information on the surgeries see the link below. Regards Dr Charles Cope
While it is feasible to perform gynecomastia, tummy tuck, and liposuction at the same time, the question would be if this is in your best interests. Consult with 3 experienced and expert board certified plastic surgeons to understand your options.
Hi there, Absolutely. These procedures are performed all the time and generally we suggest to do these in the same admission to save you having multiple annual leave for your recovery. As Dr Cope has mentioned, the Gynaecomastia and liposuction procedures are typically a day only surgery, so to add a few hrs to a tummy procedure is very simple. We always suggest you stay in hospital from between 4-7 nights depending on the speed of your recovery. Of course we can confirm exactly how long your stay and the costs involved at the time of a consultation. And Good Luck
