Can long term Botox Nefertiti to the front of neck weaken muscles and cause neck/shoulder pain?

I’ve been having neck Botox for approx 6 years. Every 6 months or so. Lately I’ve noticed that after 3-4 months I’m experiencing neck and shoulder pain on one side. I’m a 40 yr old fit healthy woman. Not sure if this is a coincidence or over time I’ve weakened muscles? Any thoughts would be appreciated?

The amount of Botox for the Nefertiti neck "lift" will not cause any symptoms. The only local symptoms known to develop with neck injections is related to the problem with swallowing. However, the doses causing the problem are much higher than those needed for the "lift". Your symptoms could be related to a narrowed intervertebral space(s) in you cervical spine and can be easily detected by many available tests. good luck!
