I'm booked in for a breast lift/aug and two weeks later am booked to fly (domestic)and play a gig (I am a drummer and guitarist). Do you think I would do damage to the operation and breast? It's high energy. Thanks!

Answer: Will I be ok to drum after 2 wks? In my opinion, two weeks is too early to return to “high-energy” activities. Make sure that you run your questions/concerns by your plastic surgeon, who knowing exactly what is planned, will be your best resource. If in doubt, since this gig out; do not put the outcome of the planned procedure at risk. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast Lift with Implants Hi,Many plastic surgeons go much longer than this before taking on vigorous activity. We let patients (we do a lot of flight attendants) after BA and Lift travel at 1-2 weeks with a companion who can carry everything. But for us, high energy wouldn't be until three weeks. Other surgeon say 6 wks., but three weeks works for us. Keep your surgeon in the loop on this question. All the best, "Dr. Joe"
