I had some faint age spots on my cheek that have worsened after IPL, and it has been a considerable length of time since I had the treatment (over a month). This treatment did not really remove any of my freckles either (as it was claimed to do). I have worn sunscreen whenever I have been outside. Is there any chance that these spots will fade? I've tried using a retinoid cream and it hasn't made any difference. I'm really depressed because they are so dark that I can't even cover them with makeup.
