Answer: TCA 15-25% Peels Can Help Lighten Dark Skin Patches I am very sorry you are having this problem, especially only a few weeks before your wedding. Anyone who has ever read my answers knows that I am not much of a fan of any of the light or energy-based devices, including IPL. At this juncture, I would consider the use of TCA peels in concentrations of 15-25% to help fade the remaining dark patches between the white stripes. If treatment is begun right away and repeated every ten days, there should be sufficient lightening of the darker areas by the fourth treatment session, not long before your wedding, to make the problem, if it still remains, more easily coverable with makeup. Best of luck and congratulations on your upcoming marriage.

Answer: Look for a :PicoSure FOCUS Thanks for your question and posting a picture. I'm sorry you are having trouble just before one of the most important days in your life. The original provider had horrible technique that caused this problem. You might consider another IPL in a setting where a physician is present. If you were our patient, we would probably even this out with a PicoSure FOCUS or Flat lens. IPL would probably be our second choice. Best of luck with this and your wedding!

Answer: Striping after IPL Good afternoon and thank you for your question! It looks like the person who performed your IPL treatment did not overlap and left spaces between pulses. I would return to the IPL technician and discuss treatment options. Chemical peels are a great way to even out skin tone if you do not want to do another IPL treatment. We use The Perfect Derma chemical peel which is a combination of glutathione, TCA, retinoic acid, kojic acid, phenol, salicylic acid and vitamin C.
