after having aggresive alar base reduction with results i really like. the only thing that i dont like is that the angle of the nostril rims are alot higher compared to the columella. before alarplasty they were both parallel. my side profile does not look as lifted becuase my alar rims angle lower while the columella angles at 90 degrees. is there any way to detach the alar and reposition it or change the angle of the rims?

Estesan it is very typical for your nostrils to look relatively similar after you first have surgery, especially if you were not looking for a serious change. Over time this swelling should reduce and you should see the change you were expecting

I agree that you are a good candidate for alarplasty alone. It’s a short procedure and can even be performed under local anesthesia in about 45 minutes. I would not recommmend lifting the tip. Your tip looks fine.
