Hi there, In 2019 I had an “extended tummy tuck.” I was cut almost the whole way around yet I still have all this excess skin. I’ve spoken to my surgeon and according to him “the result is satisfactory” and if I want anything more done then I’ll have to book and pay again. Will this procedure remove the love handles and extra skin? My bum also wasn’t this saggy or have the dips in it? What can I do to fix everything? I'm also still on a diuretic for the fluid, can something be done about that to?

Thank you for your question regarding what to do with your body after undergoing an extended tummy tuck. Thank you for your postoperative pictures. To improve your results, I would suggest a conversion of your extended tummy tuck into a 360 circumferential lower body lift. This would entail continuing your tummy tuck incision to the top of the butt crack. This would go completely around your body. Excess skin in front of the hips and buttocks would be eliminated during the procedure. This would fix the love handle region and the “extra skin.” Fixing the dips in the area may require secondary surgery. This may require either fat grafting like a BBL or hip implants. In the U.S., this is a standard procedure, especially in Beverly Hills. Regarding your diuretic, I would suggest you consult your GP or your internist. Alternatively, you may want to consult with a kidney specialist. Thank you for your inquiry regarding what to do with your results after an extended tummy tuck. Dear Mandilicous,
Thank you for your questions and your pictures. While you didn't include pictures of your buttock and didn't show how far back your incision extends, it appears you would benefit from a completion lower body lift, or a 360 degree procedure. The laxity that you are demonstrating on the sides could be removed by completing the lower body lift. I would encourage you to seek out a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation of your lower body concerns.
