Where does the fillers inject in the nose; in the bone or between the bone and the skin?

The filler should be placed between the bone and the skin, and should only be placed in the midline and never on the sides (higher risk of necrosis if injected into a vessel).  I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon with experience in nasal injections.  We would gladly see you in the office.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Fillers that are used in the nose are usually placed below the skin. I have not ever seen them move. If you use  a HA filler it can be dissolved if you have a problem. I have gotten good results with HA fillers as well as with Radiesse.

Hello,Fillers used to reshape the nose go between the bone and the skin.  There may be some role in putting fillers directly into the skin itself, but usually not when treating for nasal shape.  It is not possible to inject into bone itself.Hyaluronic Acid filler like Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, and others are good choices for this.  They are soft, can be molded and are unlikely to move.  If it should move or not be to your liking for any reason, they are easily dissolved overnight using an "antidote" injection.

The common fillers are injected into the deeper part of the skin called the dermis.  Depending on the filler and type, it may be injected superficial or deep into the dermis.  Also some fillers are injected deeper than the skin and are placed close to the bone and below the muscle.  In the nose, you would want someone who is comfortable injected there since it is not a common area to inject with fillers and you have risks in that area due to blood vessels and the eye very close by.  The fillers will last anywhere from 6-12 months usually in that area.  See a specialist and they can discuss the best fillers based on the depression and your best options.
