Pain and tightness after fat grafting to hip?

There can be some pain and/or swelling which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. Pain can be managed with oral neurontin. I recommend prp and sculptra to improve fat grafting results. I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. You are freshly postop from an operation designed to make your hips bigger. Tighter is what happens and discomfort as well. In a few days swelling will begin to subside and your discomfort as well. Talk to your surgeon.  That person will help adjust pain meds to help with your present discomfort. 

SO don't worry, anything you have had put in, added to some swelling post op will feel tight at day 2-7. As long as it isn't hot and red and painful then go with it. Once the swelling starts to fade things will feel a lot more normal but don't expect a soft contour for 3-6 months at least. Hope that helps, Adam Goodwin

Each Dr grafts  fat in different manners.
Perhaps your doctor grafted aggressively with hopes that you will retain more sad long-term.
Fat transfer to the hips have a tendency to have a lower survival rate of that fat because of the lack of tissue to graft into.
Without an examination or knowing how the procedure was performed you should follow up with your doctor and have him or her address your concerns.
