Thank you for you question. Of course, always speak to and listen to the advice of your physician. Microdermabrasion and dermaplane are both considered mechanical exfoliation treatments. No chemicals are used. Typically, it is safe to receive either of these treatments during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
no studies have been performed on pregnant women, so it is recommended to avoid any treatments. however, I let my patietns decide and sign waivers if they want treatmetns during pregnancy. I do not feel these procedures cause any harm. facials, peels, and skincare (see link) seem to be regularly performed without issues. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello, and thank you for your question. It is absolutely safe to microdermabrasion and derma-plane your face while pregnant. There is no need to worry about waiting until after either of those. Hope this helped!

Great question. It is safe to proceed with a microdermabrasion or other facial treatment about 7-10 days post BBL.
Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis. We see atrophic and hypertrophic scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus...
