Question

I've had these dark freckles on my legs all my life along with other scars from injuries over the years. I would like to have my legs all one even skin tone. I've tried suggested home remedies and nothing has worked. What can I do?

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis.  We see atrophic and hypertrophic scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Dear Bridgett, Thank you for your inquiry. Dark spots and patches can successfully be treated with a series of Microdermabrasion treatments and VI peels that are safe for all skin types. Over time, alternating these treatments will help remove dead skin cells, improve the appearance of dark spots revealing a more even out complexion. In addition to that, sunscreen is essential because it will prevent further darkening.
