Can I get laser after Botox in the masseter? I got Fraxel laser after 5 days... Will it be okay?

Yes, you can have Fraxel after Botox. We often combine these types of treatments on the same day. I always combine lasers with microneedling/prp, Sculptra, peels and rf treatments for more robust outcomes for facial rejuvenation. We space treatments every 4-6 weeks, but will depend on healing. With this time-frame, this is unlikely to impact your Botox results. Botox results gradually resolve in 3-4 months. Hope this helps.

Botox should be injected at least two weeks before laser treatment so the new collagen is remodelled into smooth skin. Having said that, the Fraxel or Fractional CO2 or any ablative laser in general will not impact the Botox outcome one way or another. The ablative laser actually vaporizes the surface layer of the skin with initial side effects to include red, raw, and oozing skin.  Botox results last for up to 3 months at which point you'd need to have the same area injected again.

There should be no issue for your laser treatment. Consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended.

You should have no problem with a laser treatment after Botox. Botox is rapidly taken up at its target site soon after injection. Having a laser treatment should not affect the Botox at all.

Botox is a protein.  Going back to biochemistry, heat will denature (change the shape of) a protein.  If the protein changes shape it loses its function.  To answer your question, if you had Botox and then immediately had a heat delivery treatment such as a laser, it could inactivate your Botox.  It would not make it spread.  Botox gets to its site of action pretty quickly so if you had your treatment 5 days after Botox it would not be expected to have any impact.

Because Botox is used to treat the muscles under the skin, overlapping treatment with skin-directed lasers (such as Fraxel) is fine in most cases. Fraxel and other resurfacing lasers can cause a significant amount of soft tissue / skin swelling, and that can often make the face appear puffy and/or red. Nonetheless, the laser treatment should not affect the Botox treatment.
