I developed a large hematoma 6 days post lower facelift. I saw my doctor and he said we should 'watch it' and to come back 2 weeks post surgery. Today is 9 days post-surgery and it's much bigger and harder. I reached the doctor (weekend via phone) & he thinks I should wait 14 days post surgery to see if it resolves, but I said I'd feel better going in on Monday. He sounded like he thought I was over-reacting. Am I over-reacting? I'm very worried and frightened.
