Hello, I am 67, female, 5', 100lbs, very fit, healthy, eat healthily, exercise, dancer, do not drink or smoke, look younger than my age. I want to have a face lift of lower face/neck and wondering if having SVT is an issue. I typically have about 4 episodes per year. Thank you.
I have an EKG monitor that was implanted this past year due to a fainting spell. I will wear it for three years. I have not had any heart arrhythmias, heart murmurs, no Afib occurrences and no heart disease other than high cholesterol. I have normal blood pressure. Would a doctor still feel they could do a facelift with a neck lift on someone who is 65 and in good health otherwise?
I have seen two school's of thought about the length of time to wear the compression bandage after a neck lift. My skin is 66 1/2 years old. Obviously, I want the best outcome I can get, so why do some surgeons require the compression bandage to be worn longer than other surgeons?
At 66, what would be the best treatment for lower face? I have read so many negative articles about thread lift. Fillers will not be enough; I need a lift. Do I need a lower face lift or is there an easier way to fluff this area up?
Ive recently lost weight and my jowls have become very pronounced as well as lines around my mouth. My skin has been great and youthful for many yrs but now the sagging (and thinner face?) have aged me . Im on immunosuppressants and prednisone but hopefully off soon. And if not, I could likely stop for a month or so. I have an auto-immune eye disease, am stable and on mainteneance meds. In my case, is it best to stick with nonsurgical solutions?
