Can damage from ThermiSmooth heal? Or will it always get worse? (Photos)

Thank you for your question. Thermismooth uses radio frequency which is a wonderful treatment for stimulating collagen in your skin. When using it around the eyes, a smaller electrode is used which does not penetrate deep enough to effect fat cells, so I do not understand how this could have happened. Losing weight is typically shown on our faces first, perhaps this is the cause. Tear troughs develop as we age and lose our natural collagen elastin, and fat pads in our upper and mid face. I would recommend you return to your healthcare professional and voice your concerns. There are several ways to make up for the volume loss shown in your photos such as HA fillers, fat transfer, and other collagen stimulating lasers such as Vivace.Best of luck, be well!

Thanks for the question and sorry that you are having these concerns after having ThermiSmooth to the areas around your eyes. This is a safe and wonderful procedure for so many that I would find it very hard to understand that anything bad happened with your procedure.  I would go back to your provider and let them evaluate you and what is going on, compare before and after procedures and see what can be done now to minimize your concerns. You may need a consultation with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon.
